Introduce the quality identification method of label paper
In our lives, we can see the use of self-adhesive labels everywhere. Many products have such labels on the outer packaging. Some labels also carry anti-counterfeiting marks, so the quality is better. How to identify the quality of the label paper? The method of identifying the quality of the thermal printing paper label will be shared by the editor of Changzhou Yueda Printing. If the quality of the label is not good, it may be scrapped after a short time. . Therefore, it is very important to master the correct label paper quality identification method, let’s understand it together.
1. Appearance: If the paper is very white, it means that the protective coating and thermal coating of the paper are unreasonable. If too much phosphor is added, the better paper should be slightly greenish. The paper is not smooth or looks uneven, indicating that the paper coating is uneven. If the paper seems to reflect very strong light, too much phosphor is added, and the quality is not good.
2. Fire roasting: The method of roasting with fire is also very simple. Use a lighter to heat the back of the paper. If the color that appears on the paper is brown after heating, it means that the heat-sensitive formula is not reasonable and the storage time may be relatively short. The black part of the paper has small streaks or uneven color blocks, indicating that the coating is uneven. The paper with better quality should be black-green (with a little green) after heating, and the color blocks should be uniform, and the color gradually fades from the center to the surroundings.
3. Sunlight contrast identification: smear the printed paper with a highlighter and put it in the sun (this can accelerate the reaction of the thermal coating to light), which paper will turn black quickly, indicating the shorter the storage time .
Observation of appearance, fire roasting, and sun exposure contrast identification The three label paper quality identification methods can be inspected from different aspects, all of which are relatively simple and have obvious effects. We use suitable methods to identify the label paper in order to make our label paper have a long service life and stable use.
